• Valid LA State Medical License
• Certification in ACLS and BLS
• ARRT Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to adapt to varying procedural needs and schedules
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in high-acuity or trauma settings
• Advanced certifications in interventional radiology or cardiology
• Experience with emergency or disaster response protocols
• Bilingual abilities or additional language skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nursing, or related health sciences
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care in interventional radiology or cardiology environments
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical practice

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to participate in emergency response and hurricane relief teams during storm seasons
• Ability to arrive at the department within 30 minutes of notification if on call
• Flexibility for rotating call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to float between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed
• Availability for shift hours from 08:00 to 16:30, with flexibility for earlier or later procedures as required
• Compensation at an hourly rate of $63.65
• Compliance with all hurricane-season protocols and reporting requirements during storm events
• Reimbursement for travel, certifications, licensure, and related expenses where applicable
