What Youll Do

Assist with central line insertion/management and ongoing patient care
Provide care and maintenance for implanted ports
Manage PICC lines including care and maintenance
Support starting IVs as needed
Apply professional nursing knowledge for infection prevention and isolation precautions
Perform pressure ulcer assessment and prevention
Chart and document care in EPIC

What You NeedRequired

BLS certification
EPIC experience required
12 years of relevant nursing experience (per assignment requirement)
Experience/comfort with:
- Central line assistance (insertion/management)
- Implanted port care/maintenance
- PICC line care/maintenance
- Starting IVs
Ability to follow infection prevention and pressure injury prevention practices

Preferred

Prior IR/vascular access experience (implied by specialty duties)
Comfort working as a proactive, self-motivated clinician in a small clinic environment

About the AssignmentThis assignment is in a small clinic environment with 2 nurses running day-to-day care and 4 rooms total.
