Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

You will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, working alongside multidisciplinary teams including IR attendings, fellows, and radiology residents. As a key team member, you will handle a diverse workload independently, demonstrate proficiency in caring for infants and pediatric patients, and adapt to various clinical situations with confidence.Required Skills:

• Circulator experience in radiology or related fields
• Conscious sedation administration and monitoring
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Ability to handle workload independently and efficiently
• Competence to jump into a fast-paced environment immediately
• Epic EHR experience
• Certification in ACLS and BLS

Nice to Have Skills:

• CPI, NIH, PALS certifications
• Experience with Level 1 trauma cases
• Scrub experience
• Neuro IR experience
• ICU, ED, or Step Down unit experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Prior experience in interventional radiology, ICU, ED, or related units
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably with pediatric and infant patients

Other Requirements:

• Shift: 3x12-hour days (06:00 - 18:30) on Saturdays, Sundays, and either Fridays or Mondays with rotation
• Overnight call rotation required; float within unit
• Average daily census: 5-6 patients per room with a staff ratio of 1:6
• Willingness to participate in emergency team assignments and relief staffing as needed
• Travel, licensure, certification, and incidentals reimbursed where applicable
