• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, specifically in radiology or interventional procedures
• Epic EMR system experience
• Proficiency in performing 12-20 cases per day
• Valid Louisiana State RN License
• IR Sedation Certification (must be obtained before start date)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and patient advocacy skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work a day shift (07:30 - 15:30), with call requirements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience floating to catheterization labs or other radiology units
• Prior knowledge of ICU or ED nursing practices
• Experience with patient sedation for imaging procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• BSN or higher degree preferred
• 2+ years of specialized interventional radiology nursing experience
• Demonstrated competence in managing sedation and complex patient care

Other Requirements:

• Call obligation once per week and 4-6 weekends per year
• Ability to float to Cath Lab when needed
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Commitment to ongoing education and certification renewal
