- Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the radiology IR team.
- Assigns tasks and delegates responsibilities to team members.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of team members. Monitors the quality of IR procedures and ensures that they meet the required standards.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment, and orders as needed.
- Ensures that the radiology equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Trains new team members on IR procedures and safety protocols.
Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.
Licensure Requirement:- Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
- Valid “R” category Ohio Radiological License, required.
- CPR certification, required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience:- Five years of clinical Radiology experience, required.
- Three years of experience with Interventional or similar procedures, required.
- Pediatric experience, preferred.
