Job Title : Interventional Radiology tech Location: Wellington, FL Duration : 13 weeks (Possibility of Extension) Shift - Days- 7:00am- 3:30pm with call required
Requirement:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Required, Current State/District License Required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required.
- 2 years’ experience required.
Job duties:
- Responsible for radiological functions for special procedures and other interventional examinations.
- Assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
- Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol
- Observes patients during procedure and reports abnormal activity.
