Position Overview
This position provides services to adolescents and adults, producing high-quality images for Radiology and assigned areas within the Operating Room. The role requires competence in various equipment and technology, adhering to safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and oneself. Teamwork is fostered through effective communication, and flexibility is maintained to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths. The role demands the ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality radiologic images.
- Maintain competence in a variety of equipment and technology.
- Adhere to safety guidelines for all involved parties.
- Foster teamwork through effective communication.
- Demonstrate flexibility in staffing and scheduling.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience within a sterile environment and proficiency in aseptic techniques preferred.
- An associate degree is preferred.
- Experience in Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery is required.
- Previous experience with scrub cases is necessary.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment.
- 4x10 hour shifts, with start times at 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM depending on departmental call shifts.
- Flexibility to work holidays as needed.
- On-call requirement from 7 PM to 7 AM, including one weekday each week and one weekend shift per month.
