Position Overview
This position provides services to adolescents and adults, producing high-quality images for Radiology and assigned areas within the Operating Room that meet established standards. It requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology, and adherence to safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and oneself. The role involves fostering teamwork through effective communication and maintaining flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths. The ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, is essential.
Skills
- Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred.
- Associate's degree preferred.
Education
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before the start date of employment is required.
Licensure/Certification Required
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT).
- ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of the start date.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
