Position Overview
This role involves providing services to adolescents and adults by producing high-quality images for Radiology and assigned areas within the Operating Room. The position requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology, adherence to safety guidelines for patients and personnel, and fostering teamwork through effective communication. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves staffing various work locations, shift times, and lengths. The ability to work varied hours and respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, is required.
Skills
- Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique is preferred.
- Familiarity with VIR and NIR/Stroke, Siemens and Phillips Equipment, Epic.
- 2 years of VIR experience.
Education
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligibility with certification obtained before the start date of employment is required.
Licensure/Certification
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT).
- ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of the start date.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Preferred: ARRT VI certification.
