Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Contract Assignment Location: Downers Grove, IL 60515 Scrubs: Provided Parking: Free onsite Orientation: Up to 1 week About the Cath Lab Good Samaritan s Cath Lab operates 4 procedure labs and manages 15 23 adult cardiac cases per day. The department provides both inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiac services in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Technology & Equipment Used: EPIC Charting Alaris IV Pumps Pyxis Medication Dispensing Zoll Defibrillator Philips Fluoroscopy System Merge Hemodynamics Datascope IABP Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience Associate s degree Active Certifications/Licenses: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) ARRT or RTR Illinois State License (IEMA) Prior EPIC experience Highly Preferred: RCIS (CCI) EPIC Cupid experience Required Clinical Skills Strong knowledge of aseptic technique Sheath pulling TR Band placement & removal Line securement EKG & cardiac rhythm interpretation Experience with IABP and Impella devices
