The Inventory Control Accounting Team Member is responsible for the daily support of store and or warehouse personnel regarding inventory issues. The Inventory Control Accounting Team Member is also responsible for the reconciliation and invoice preparation of store and or warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Balancing and reconciling the daily receipts from stores and or warehouse.
  • Responsible for the research and documentation of correspondence with stores and for maintaining the orderly record-keeping system.
  • Researching pricing and prepare invoices for payment to vendors.
  • Documenting the correspondence with outside vendors and the ABC Purchasing team.
  • Performing daily communications with store and or warehouse personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the liquor retail industry.
  • At least 3 years of Accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving number concept skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements: (With or Without Accommodations)

  • Continuously: Work at a computer workstation with repetitive hand and wrist movements Frequently: Sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods.
  • Frequently: Operate standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer, copier).
  • Frequently: Communicate effectively (see, hear, speak) in person and via phone or video conferencing Occasionally: Lifting and/or transporting up to 20 lbs. throughout the necessary location. Occasionally: Stand and move within the office environment

Vision Requirements: (With or Without Accommodations)

  • Frequently: Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.

Work Environment:

This role is based in a professional office environment within the Store Support Center (SSC) and operates in a hybrid work arrangement, with time split between working onsite and remotely as business needs require. The work environment is primarily indoors and includes the following activities:

  • Continuously: Sitting or standing while at a computer workstation.
  • Frequently: Using standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers, video conferencing tools).
  • Frequently: Team Members may collaborate with cross-functional partners in person and virtually. Occasionally: Travel to and from work site locations as needed to meet project demands.
