The Inventory & E-Commerce Specialist manages e-commerce operations and merchandise inventory across all locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of Sight & Sound’s inventory management strategies across all retail channels: ensure a secure and accurate inventory control system, oversee inventory levels between locations and coordinate regular inventory counts.
- Strategically manage inventory quantities, optimizing storage capacity, lead times, and cost.
- Utilize sales and pricing data to make recommendations for promotional strategies, suggest processes for improved profitability, and provide relevant product performance information to the Product Development Team for future success.
- Partner with the Retail Supervisors to provide direction to the Merchandise & Inventory Leads. Ensure teams have the tools and training necessary to create maximum productivity, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Manage and execute all e-commerce functionality, including new product listings, inventory levels, fulfillment, and customer service. Partner with Brand Creative on product photography and website design features.
- Create and maintain close partnerships with the Business Development, Retail, and Accounting teams as you support our core values and culture.
- Travel Required: minimum of one trip per year to Branson, MO location
Prerequisites:
- Collaborative, positive, strategic
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in inventory management best practices
- Excellent customer service
- Detail oriented
The physical demands of this position are active in nature. You will be expected to be on your feet frequently, walk and stand regularly, sit regularly, work indoors, use step stools, operate small machinery and power tools, and frequently lift/exert up to 50 lb.s of force.
