Job Description
Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and other documents. Perform cycle counting duties toensure that all material is properly verified and is reflective of reported inventory. Will maintain inventory accuracythrough proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers. Will also assist the Purchasing Dept asbackup ordering of material. Cycle count materials which will be monitored by the Purchasing Department Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and rack location reports. Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions toeliminate. Process, check, measure material; place correct labels on bundles. Examine material for defects and report findings. Prepare forms and maintain records dealing with discrepancies and damage items; process RMApaperwork. Input material in computer system. Any other tasks or projects may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager. Always maintain a clean and organized work area. Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
