Job Description – Inventory Clerk
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating inventory records to ensure effective inventory management in the Distribution Center.
Essential Functions:
- Perform daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management
- Reconcile inventories and coordinate inventory procedures
- Work with management to implement loss prevention programs and improve inventory control
- Ensure all defective product is properly accounted for and handled
- Maintain accurate records to support shortage detection
Skills and Experience Required:
- Must be able to operate PIT equipment (order picker or reach truck)
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing inventory experience
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Minimum Experience:
- 6 months to 1 year of clerical or related experience preferred
Required Skills:
- Basic Excel skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic WMS knowledge (Ciel and Blue Yonder)
- Good communication skills
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on 5S practices
Train on 1st from 8:00AM till 4:30PM for a couple weeks then move to the 2nd shift which is from 10:00AM till 7:00PM
