The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining high inventory quality standards by assisting with inventory accuracy through our cycle count process, non-conforming process, generation and review of ERP transactions, including validation of adherence to Cepheid's Inventory Control's documented Standard Operating Procedures and Corporate SOX Narrative.

This position reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor and is part of the Logistics Department located in Lodi, CA, and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Primary contact person for handling escalated non-conformance requests, responsible for overseeing containment, investigation, planning, executing disposition, and implementing corrective actions by collaborating with global Cepheid teams.
  • Collaborate with planning and finance to manage the short life/sell-down, obsolete, and expired inventory.
  • Perform cycle count program to sustain Inventory Control SOPs and adhere to Corporate Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School Degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of three years of related work experience, or AA or Technical Degree with two years of work experience.
  • Experience in inventory quality management: Non-Conforming Report (NCR), Planned Deviation request (PDR), and execution of cycle count process in SAP.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to stand for several hours. Work may involve repetitive arm/wrist motions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Thorough understanding of Material Handling, Supply Chain, and Logistics processes.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required.
  • Quality Management System and SAP IM/WM module.

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 45,000 - 59,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
