The Role

We’re looking for an Inventory Control Analyst who can bring clarity to complexity and help us maintain the right inventory—at the right time, in the right place.

What You'll Do:

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze inventory, sales, and demand data to identify trends and risks
  • Build reports and dashboards that drive informed decision-making
  • Highlight opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements

Inventory Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict demand accurately
  • Set inventory targets, safety stock levels, and reorder points
  • Continuously adjust plans based on business needs and market trends

Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory levels across multiple locations
  • Coordinate replenishment and ensure product availability
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or stock issues

Process Improvement

  • Evaluate current inventory processes and identify inefficiencies
  • Implement tools, systems, and best practices to improve accuracy and speed
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline operations

Auditing & Compliance

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure data integrity
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Proactively identify and address control gaps

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 + years of relevant experience (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (SQL is a strong asset)
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and forecasting principles
  • Experience with inventory or ERP systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally

The estimated salary range for this position is $70K to $85k. plus bonus.  Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
