Job Title: Inventory Control AssociateDuration: Contract 05+ Month (Possibilities to extend) Location: Joliet IL 60433Job Description Joliet, IL (must be onsite)++++++++ We need candidates with heavy inventory experience and Manhattan WMS.. Warehouse Management Systems+++ Exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Associate at the Midwest Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Joliet, IL. The Midwest PDC has more than 800,000 square feet of space and over 80,000 SKUs. The Inventory Control Associate will report into the Finance Manager. In this position you will split your time in an office environment and in the warehouse assisting in managing warehouse inventory. Basic Requirements:• Associate's degree and at least 1 year of materials management experience OR• At least 2 years of materials management experience Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Perform clerical and support tasks to ensure that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel• Under supervision, assist with physical inventory counts and reconciling results with inventory records• Investigate inventory overages/shortages, cycle count discrepancies, and locate missing inventory• Ensure that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct• Assist with processing Shipped in Error (SIE) claims and investigations as well as Dealer Returns• Provide backup and assist with other Inventory Control duties as needed• Assist with Pick Exceptions/Inventory Shortages throughout the day• Average hours per week: 40 hrsDesired Skills: MS Office Strong Effective Interpersonal Communication Skills Verbal/Written/Listening Customer Service Skills Data Entry Conflict Management Ability to Work Well Under Deadline Pressure Ability to Prioritize and Handle Multiple Tasks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable with escalated heights Must be comfortable being trained to drive a Cherry Picker Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management Software or TOLAS System are a plus
