Position Overview: The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for taking/entering customer orders, monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, conducting regular inventory audits, The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Take/enter customer orders
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory.
- Update inventory records and databases to reflect current stock levels and movements.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies as required.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through investigation and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill inventory requests and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to inventory management.
- Proven experience in inventory control or related field.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with inventory control system such as SAP, AS400 or similar
