Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Clerk to support inventory management, order processing, and distribution operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with inventory systems, resolving discrepancies, and supporting shipping/receiving operations while maintaining accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Audit inventory across systems including SAP, Manhattan, and ADMS to maintain inventory accuracy
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies during daily order processing
- Process rejected, expired, short-dated, quarantined, reworked, and destroyed materials
- Resolve orders on hold due to inventory status issues
- Monitor and troubleshoot system error logs within Manhattan, ADMS, and SAP
- Manage customer order queues and release deliveries to meet shipping timelines
- Support Distribution and Receiving teams during peak operational periods
- Compile, analyze, and report operational metrics and KPIs
- Assist with employee training activities as needed
- Escalate operational issues to appropriate personnel for timely resolution
- Maintain compliance with quality systems and operational procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution support preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP, Manhattan WMS, ADMS, or similar inventory management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and Lotus Notes
- Ability to navigate multiple operating systems and applications
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
- Understanding of quality systems, metrics, and warehouse workflows
- Experience with shipping, receiving, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Ability to work in cold storage/freezer environments at -20 C or colder
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Flexibility to support multiple sites if required
