Information on the division:

Located in Strongsville, the 90+ employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Héroux-Devtek’s centers of excellence for the final assembly of landing gear.

As part of the Central Division, you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs such as the Boeing 777 and Embraer E-2, and important military programs as F-18, F-35, C-17 and C-130.

With a strong focus on latest technology of manufacturing processes with machining automation and techniques we aim to remain the best value producer of complex landing gear components.

Summary:

The Inventory Clerk supports the shipping and procurement departments by pulling assembly kits out of stock and making them available to the shop floor. Maintain all inventory transactions while validating all paperwork and locations for the production of commercial and military Aerospace parts. 

Main responsibilities:

• Perform and validate inventory transactions and processing of customer shipments in Baan.
• Pull assembly kits and complete required documents.
• Assist with annual inventory count.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness for stock & inventory area.
• Act as Material Handler back-up for production order splits/order issues, including the following processes:
  • Receive and maintain shelf-life control log as needed.
  • Assist with monthly cycle counts for stores, WIP and raw material.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous experience in a public company environment preferred.
• Experience using tow motors, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and packaging materials.
• Proven track record of working with others to reach a common goal.
