| Reports To: Production Control Supervisor& Engineering Manager | Revision Date: 08/01/2026 |

- Associate’s degree or equivalent. Previous quality experience may replace degree requirements.
- Stays abreast of appropriate or emerging quality initiatives and drives development and implementation of best practices.
- Experience with computerized inventory systems ERP required.
- Forklift operator certification preferred.
- Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and methods for providing customer service and personal services. This includes customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Clerical – Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, and systems such as word processing.
- Law and Government — Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
- Mathematics – Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and statistics.
- Quality - Knowledge of quality and statistical techniques, tools and processes, which maximize effectiveness and ensure appropriate application and analysis of data
- Production and Processing- Knowledge of wire/cable and/or plastics manufacturing processes including raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and techniques which maximize effectiveness. Knowledge of Lean/Six-Sigma concepts is preferred
- Critical Thinking – Use logic to identify approaches to problems, solutions and drawing conclusions.
- Time Management – Managing your own time with the ability to plan and multitask.
- Instructing – Must be able to teach others how to perform tasks. Patient and not easily frustrated
- Complex Problem Solving – Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions...
- Troubleshooting – Determining causes of errors and deciding a plan of action to correct the error.
- Monitoring – Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Collaboration –Understanding of the basic steps in collaboration and getting to a win/win situation.
- Teamwork – Ability to work in teams and across departments to meet company strategic objectives
- Written Comprehension – The ability to read and understand information and ideas in written form.
- Oral Expression – The ability to communicate their thoughts and information so that others will understand.
- Ability to see details at a close range.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 54 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
Work Conditions: Work is primarily indoors in a climate-controlled office and manufacturing area; noise level is quiet to moderate. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and hazards.
