Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory and the related records. The Inventory Control Clerk must ensure that inventory is properly tracked in the Stratton-Warren system (SWS) and CSS (gas stations) and that the physical inventory is accurate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Abide by all company and departmental policies and procedures in a timely manner.
- Conduct physical inventories of all warehouses and gas station convenience stores, 95% of role consists of inventory count task.
- Receives incoming orders into the SWS and CSS (gas stations).
- Process invoices.
- Update issue requisitions.
- Update cost transfers.
- Complete the monthly open receivers report.
- Complete the monthly issues & transfers reports.
- Research and resolve all back orders.
- Update and distribute the Cost Report.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience with shipping and/or receiving strongly preferred.
- Previous experiences with convenience store/retail inventory/gas stations preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Clark County Health Card required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Microsoft Office experience. Proficiency in Stratton Warren and CSS inventory systems preferred.
MACHINERY USED
Pallet jack, dolly, hand truck.
