Description: Location: Fremont CAIndustry: Biotechnology / Medical Products Distribution
Position SummaryThe Inventory Control Coordinator supports warehouse operations including receiving, staging, inventory control, and outbound shipping of temperature controlled medical products.This role performs essential material handling tasks while following safety policies, handling regulated materials, and operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
Primary ResponsibilitiesReceivingReceive raw materials, components, and inbound productsVerify quantities, lot numbers, and documentationPerform system transactions for receipts and put-awayIdentify discrepancies and escalate as needed
Outbound ShippingPick and stage orders using FIFO/FEFO sequencingPack domestic and international shipmentsPrepare cold-chain shipments using insulated packaging, dry ice, gel packs, etc.Create shipping documentation and coordinate carrier pickups
Inventory ControlAssist with cycle counts and location auditsSupport inventory reconciliation and system updatesRemove expired or damaged items from storage locationsFollow standard procedures for lot control and traceability
Cold-Chain & Regulated Material HandlingWork inside cold rooms (2 8 C) and freezers (-20 C)Handle temperature-sensitive and time-critical productsWork with dry ice and cold-chain packagingHandle regulated and hazardous materials in accordance with procedures
Equipment OperationMay operate:Stand-up/sit-down forkliftOrder pickerPallet jacksRF scannersCold-room material handling tools
Forklift certification can be provided on site.
Work EnvironmentCandidates must be able to:Work inside refrigerated and frozen roomsLift up to 35 50 lbs repeatedlyWear PPE and follow safety proceduresStand and walk for extended periods
Required SkillsWarehouse or material handling experienceAbility to work in cold storage environmentsBasic computer skillsAbility to follow written instructions and SOPs
Preferred SkillsForklift experienceCold-chain experienceBasic knowledge of hazardous material handlingExperience with medical or regulated product distribution
Additional NotesAll work is performed in a highly regulated environmentTraining and certification will be providedAbility to work overtime based on business needs
