Job Description
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for a long-term opportunity with a manufacturing company in NW Portland, OR. The person in this position will support inventory operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating cycle counts, and assisting with physical inventories and procurement processes.
Pay: $28$30/hour
Inventory Control Coordinator Responsibilities:
Perform inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory systems.
Coordinate and process daily inventory control transactions including adjustments, vendor returns, and discrepancies.
Assist with planning, executing, and reconciling physical inventories.
Monitor inventory issues and ensure timely and effective resolutions.
Maintain build-ahead parts inventory by opening and managing replenishment jobs based on sales orders and seasonal demand.
Coordinate with stockroom personnel and purchasing regarding inventory replenishment needs.
Prepare reports related to inventory values, raw materials, quantity adjustments, and count discrepancies.
Support daily cycle count programs by analyzing discrepancies, entering counts, and documenting findings.
Assist with all aspects of physical inventory including inventory sheets, tags, count updates, and final inventory reconciliation.
Work closely with multiple departments to maintain proper inventory control procedures.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Inventory Control Coordinator Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum two years of inventory control or related support experience preferred.
General knowledge of Oracle JDE inventory and material transactions preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows operating systems required.
Ability to type 4555 words per minute.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills required.
Ability to effectively coordinate with multiple departments and personnel.
Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate inventory records.
