Shift: Monday To Friday From 08:00 AM To 12:00 PM
Summary:
This Managed Services Customer Service & Inventory Specialist role focuses on customer service, inventory management, and material-handling activities at customer locations. The position supports receiving, stocking, inventory replenishment, product disbursement, deliveries, chemical handling, glass washing, autoclave-related activities, and stockroom operations. The role requires strong customer-service, communication, organizational, analytical, and computer skills, along with the ability to work independently in laboratory, warehouse, and customer-site environments.
Responsibilities
  • Follow established Best Practices, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Receive, put away, stock, rotate, and distribute products.
  • Perform inventory replenishment, disbursement, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Analyze and reconcile customer and company reports.
  • Deliver direct-shipment orders to end users.
  • Perform required inventory deliveries and stockroom duties.
  • Operate handheld scanners and inventory-management systems.
  • Use ULS Inventory Manager and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Access and maintain information through company Intranet and SharePoint.
  • Communicate customer issues and potential problems to supervisors.
  • Address customer concerns and work toward first-call resolution.
  • Maintain professional communication and appearance at customer locations.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
  • Remove cardboard and trash from stockroom areas as needed.
  • Stay current with company policies, system enhancements, and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
  • Perform chemical handling, glass washing, autoclave, and other site-specific activities as required.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Required Skills
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and customer-focus skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with different levels of personnel.
  • Experience or ability to use handheld scanners and computer systems.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to learn inventory-management systems such as ULS Inventory Manager.
  • Strong analytical skills for reconciling reports and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to work in stockrooms, shipping/receiving areas, offices, and laboratory environments.
  • Ability to walk extensively during the workday.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 30 40 lbs. consistently, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use material-handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks.
  • Willingness to use required PPE, including safety gloves, safety glasses, lab coats, and steel-toe shoes where applicable.
  • Ability to work in environments where chemical-based allergens may be present.
