Job Description

Job Title: Inventory Control SpecialistLocation: Rochester, NY

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting inventory counts, and collaborating with the planning team to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Shift:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay:

  • $17.00 - 18.00 per hour

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts with accuracy and precision.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and work with the planning team to resolve issues.
  • Participate in physical inventory audits, ensuring a 99.9% accuracy rate.
  • Utilize RF scanners for cycle counting and inventory-related tasks.
  • Process inventory receipts and shipments efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety regulations.
  • Provide support to the warehouse team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), particularly in file management and navigation.
  • Experience using RF scanners (preferred but not required).
  • Previous inventory control or warehouse experience is a plus.
