Inventory Control Specialist Pay rate: $18.00Hours: Monday - Friday. 7:00am – 3:30pm A local manufacturing company in Oriskany, NY is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity offering consistent hours and weekly pay

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory records within Deacom ERP software Enter and verify inventory data to ensure accuracy and consistency Close production jobs and work orders daily Support inventory transfers between locations to ensure production readiness Record and reconcile inventory transactions for third-party tolling companies Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover, and key metrics Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth inventory flow Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of inventory management experience (including cycle counting and root cause analysis) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with ERP systems (Deacom preferred) Strong analytical and numerical skills Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and understand English Effective communication and teamwork skills Basic math skills for inventory calculations and adjustments
