Job Description

Join Our Team!

Evergreen Market is a dispensary rooted in the Pacific Northwest, and we've been doing this since 2015. With five locations across the greater Seattle area, we move a lot of product. That means our Inventory Control Specialists are a core backbone of the store. You'll own the intake process, keep compliance airtight, manage vendor relationships, and make sure our merchandising reflects the quality our customers expect.

This is a Monday through Friday, day shift position with occasional overnight audits, holidays, and weekends. You'll work independently, interface with vendors and the purchasing team, and have real ownership over store-level inventory outcomes.

What You'll Do

You'll manage the full inventory lifecycle at a single store location - from receiving product through destruction and everything in between.

Day-to-day, that includes:

  • Receiving and verifying product from producers and processors, including system entry and pricing accuracy
  • Conducting daily inventory audits and making adjustments with proper documentation
  • Processing vendor payments accurately and on time through the ACH system
  • Managing product returns to maximize financial recovery, and executing the monthly destruction process within cost targets
  • Tracking aged inventory and flagging items eligible for discount requests
  • Maintaining manifests, test results, and all required documentation using standardized scan processes
  • Overseeing display case merchandising - product categorization, show-and-tell bins, and visual standards
  • Identifying and escalating product quality or compliance concerns
  • Submitting a daily closing email and attending inventory control meetings

You'll also stay current with LCB regulations and ensure everything at your location is fully compliant with state and local law.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of retail sales experience
  • At least 1 year of inventory management experience
  • Solid working knowledge of cannabis products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift (bending, squatting, climbing, standing for extended periods)
  • 21+ years of age (required by Washington State cannabis regulations)
  • Must be able to pass a background check and participate in our reasonable suspicion drug testing program

Prior cannabis retail experience is a plus, but not required if you bring strong inventory fundamentals.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $21.00 – $23.00 per hour, plus tips
  • Full benefit eligibility in accordance with Evergreen Market policies
