Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality products. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of inventory control and materials handling to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of inventory. This role requires a thorough understanding of inventory management systems, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of FDA regulations and receiving processes.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage inventory control operations, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of the inventory.
  • Supervise the receiving of materials, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconciliations, and prepare inventory reports for management.
  • Analyze and forecast inventory levels, and implement strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and excess inventory.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate performance of inventory control staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and coordination of inventory control processes.
  • Implement and enforce safety rules and regulations in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of FDA regulations related to inventory control and receiving processes.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
  • Certification in inventory management or a related field will be an added advantage.
