Job DetailsWhat You’ll DoOwn FBA Inbound ReconciliationLead reconciliation of inventory moving from internal warehouse operations to Amazon FBA, including:WMS outbound shipment recordsShipment / box-level contentsCarrier tracking and validationAmazon receiving eventsVariance identification and resolution trackingIdentify where units fall out of the chain of custody — including packing errors, carrier loss, labeling issues, receiving delays, or Amazon discrepancies.Amazon Inventory Ledger AnalysisAnalyze FBA ledger events including:ReceiptsAdjustmentsReturnsRemovalsDisposalsTranslate Amazon reason codes into financial impact and operational root causes.Exception Management & InvestigationBuild and manage a structured exception queue covering:Inbound shipment shortagesMisplaced vs found inventoryDamaged unitsRemoval discrepanciesAged unresolved variancesDrive resolution and reimbursement opportunities.Root Cause & Operational ControlsIdentify recurring breakdowns and partner with:Warehouse leadershipOperationsAccountingEngineeringto implement stronger inventory controls and variance reduction processes.Executive ReportingDevelop dashboards and reporting for Finance and Operations leadership showing:Unreconciled inventory unitsDollar exposureVariance root causesAging discrepanciesRecovery opportunitiesTrend analysis by carrier, warehouse process, or Amazon event typeRequired Experience3+ years of Amazon FBA inventory reconciliation or inventory controlExperience reconciling internal operational data vs Amazon reports or ledger dataStrong understanding of FBA inbound shipments, receiving behavior, returns, removals, and adjustmentsTechnical SkillsStrong SQL querying large operational datasetsAdvanced Excel (Power Query, complex lookups, pivots)Ability to design repeatable reconciliation workflows and exception trackingInterested in hearing more?
