Job Description

Inventory Management Associate

StemWave | Join a team where innovation meets social impact.

About the Role

StemWave is a fast-growing medical technology company helping healthcare providers deliver non-invasive solutions that support patient recovery, pain relief, and improved quality of life. Our technology is already trusted by more than 500 medical offices nationwide, and our continued growth depends on a strong, reliable manufacturing operation.

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Stockroom Associate to help ensure the right materials are received, organized, tracked, and delivered to production at the right time.

In this hands-on role, you will manage incoming materials, maintain accurate inventory records, prepare production kits, complete ERP transactions, and support the daily flow of materials throughout our manufacturing operation. Your work will directly contribute to product quality, production efficiency, and StemWave’s ability to serve more healthcare providers and patients.

This role is a strong fit for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys organized and process-driven work, and wants to contribute to a growing company where every team member plays an important part.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive raw materials and complete all required inbound inventory transactions.

  • Verify incoming materials and assign them to the correct stockroom bins and locations.

  • Read and interpret work orders, pick lists, and material requirements.

  • Accurately pick and kit components for production work orders.

  • Review completed work orders and properly close them once all required materials have been issued.

  • Organize and clearly label production kits according to established procedures.

  • Follow proper electrostatic discharge, or ESD, protection and moisture-sensitive device handling requirements.

  • Deliver materials and completed kits to the production floor.

  • Return unused or excess materials to the appropriate stockroom locations.

  • Complete ERP transactions for receiving, picking, kitting, inventory transfers, and material returns.

  • Perform cycle counts and support ongoing inventory control activities.

  • Maintain accurate inventory quantities and location records.

  • Identify and report material shortages, inventory discrepancies, revision errors, damaged materials, and quality concerns.

  • Assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities as needed.

  • Prepare materials for supplier returns and return merchandise authorization, or RMA, processes.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area.

  • Follow all company safety, quality, and ISO procedures.

  • Support additional stockroom and manufacturing needs as priorities change.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least three years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, inventory control, or kitting role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working with ERP software is required.

  • NetSuite experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience using barcode scanners and inventory control systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to inventory accuracy.

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, pick lists, and detailed instructions.

  • Good reading comprehension and numerical skills.

  • Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems.

  • Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team.

  • Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong accountability, organization, and follow-through.

  • Ability to identify discrepancies and communicate concerns clearly.

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand motions.

  • Required use of ESD wrist straps when handling applicable materials.

  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise levels.

  • Work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment.

Why You’ll Enjoy Working Here

  • A hands-on role where your accuracy and organization directly support the production team.

  • Exposure to inventory control, manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and regulated quality processes.

  • A collaborative environment where dependable work and strong follow-through are valued.

  • The opportunity to build new skills and take on additional responsibility as the company grows.

  • Competitive compensation, premium medical benefits, and meaningful opportunities for professional development.

If you are organized, dependable, and motivated by getting the details right, we encourage you to apply and help keep StemWave’s manufacturing operation moving forward.
