Job Description
Position Summary
We are currently looking for a skilled professional to manage inventory operations for our multi-location heavy-duty truck and trailer business. The successful candidate will ensure efficient inventory levels, enhance accuracy, and facilitate seamless parts distribution across our facilities.
Primary Duties
- Oversee inventory balance to align with service, retail, and wholesale demands. - Evaluate inventory flow, pricing patterns, and market dynamics for smart purchasing. - Analyze missed sales opportunities to refine stocking procedures and increase parts availability. - Lead processes for parts procurement, receipt, and cash-on-delivery transaction reconciliation. - Cultivate strong connections with internal teams, suppliers, and customers for prompt parts delivery. - Work with sales and service departments to ascertain inventory requirements and boost operational assistance. - Participate in marketing initiatives and manage effective sales displays. - Address inventory discrepancies, warranty claims, and customer issues efficiently. - Generate detailed inventory and operations reports for upper management review.
Work Environment
This role may encompass work within shop and service areas, necessitating the use of suitable personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications
- Over 5 years in inventory or parts operations management, preferably in heavy-duty truck or trailer settings. - Expertise in inventory management, procurement, and supply chain methodologies. - Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. - Familiarity with inventory management systems and relevant software. - A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business is preferred but optional. - Purchasing background is beneficial.
