Position Overview

The Inventory Manager will oversee all aspects of inventory management across warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, tracking, and distribution. This role requires hands-on experience managing high-volume inventory environments and coordinating across multiple warehouses or distribution sites.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee inventory control processes across one or multiple warehouse locationsManage receiving, stocking, transfers, and shipping operationsEnsure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processesCoordinate inventory flow between warehouses and distribution channelsPartner with purchasing and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levelsAnalyze inventory trends, demand, and turnover to improve efficiencyIdentify and resolve discrepancies, shrinkage, and process gapsImplement and improve inventory control and warehouse proceduresUtilize ERP/WMS systems to track inventory and generate reportingTrain, supervise, and support warehouse and inventory staffEnsure compliance with safety standards and operational best practices

Qualifications3–7+ years of inventory management experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentExperience overseeing warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory controlExperience managing inventory across multiple warehouse locations preferredStrong knowledge of inventory systems (ERP/WMS) and warehouse workflowsProven ability to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiencyStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Excel and inventory reporting toolsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentBachelor’s degree preferred but not required
