Inventory/Material Handler - 1St Shift (7Am-3:30Pm)

Material Handler / Inventory Control AssociateChardon, OHStarting at $19.00+/hour (Based on Experience)Full-Time | 1st Shift 7am- 3:30pmInova Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Inventory Control Associate for a growing manufacturing company in Chardon, Ohio.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong computer and organizational skills, and is interested in supporting both warehouse and production operations.Candidates MUST have prior experience with inventory computer systems.Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and work orders.
• Accurately enter inventory and receiving data into the company's ERP/Warehouse Management System.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage locations.
• Sort, count, label, inspect, and log inventory as needed.
• Support production by moving materials throughout the facility.
• Coordinate freight pickups when necessary.
• Operate a motorized lift truck and other material handling equipment after training and certification.
• Assist with shipping functions and cross-train in additional warehouse operations.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management systems, or inventory software preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and verify inventory.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and stairs when needed.
• Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, shipping, or material handling experience is a plus.
