Inventory Month End Staff Accountant

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reconciliations across multiple operating sites.*
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system and resolve discrepancies promptly.*
• Partner with internal supply teams, terminals, and vendors to investigate and correct inventory variances.*
• Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory adjustments, swaps, and month-end close activities.*
• Support general ledger accounting through reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and depreciation entries.*
• Provide backup support for other accounting functions and assist with special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience*
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting with exposure to inventory and operational finance*
• Solid understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes*
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems, including QuickBooks*
• Ability to manage month-end close tasks, reconciliations, and journal entries accurately*
• Detail-oriented, organized work style with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
