What You’ll Do:

The Inventory Planner/Sr. Inventory Planner is responsible for planning and preparing production schedules for manufacture of commercial products.

• Review, manage, and maintain inventory levels to optimize inventory turns and maintain customer service levels of 99% fill rate
• Maintain vendor forecasts and analyze variances against forecast
• Analyze capacity constraints, MOQs, lead-times and vendor requirements to develop planning schedule
• Work with overseas vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements
• Manage obsolete and excess inventory
• Create flash reports to Senior Management identifying performance against plans
• Other duties may be assigned

Bring It!

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1-5 years experience in purchasing and material planning in consumer package goods industry preferred
• Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM) a plus
• ERP/MRP experience is a plus
• Prior experience working with overseas vendors is a plus
• Advanced Excel and Word skills required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret large data sets

To give our people flexibility, we offer hybrid work environment.  Munchkin’s Hybrid Schedule is where an employee works in the office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remotely from home on Friday.We also provide annual weeklong global office closures giving our people a chance to recharge.  

Salary range:  

Inventory Planner: $70,000 - $80,000 Annually

Sr. Inventory Planner: $80,000 - $90,000 Annually
