Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Summary
We are seeking an Inventory Reduction Specialist to ensure the timely submission of inventory returns and working with local branches to ensure proper shipment of returns. This role is for someone who is data-driven and can think outside the box for solutions.
What You'll Do
Inventory Reduction
- Evaluate and clean up historical returns of excess inventory
- Oversee all aspects of inventory reduction and returns
- Collaborate with Inventory Managers to identify obsolete and excess inventory
- Coordinate with local branches for inventory returns
- Develop creative strategies to sell/reduce excess inventory various channels, liquidations, returns, or disposals
- Work with buyers to schedule and facilitate annual vendor stock returns.
- Work with branches to pull, package, and ship returning items
Warranty Management
- Become the subject matter expert for vendor warranty programs and policies
- Process and track vendor warranty submissions
- Track and reduce freight costs associated with warranty returns
What You'll Bring (Requirements)
- Proficient in inventory software and systems (ERP, warehouse systems, Microsoft Excel).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and adjust inventory strategy accordingly.
- Experience coordinating with cross functional teams (vendors, sales, purchasing, delivery).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in heavy duty truck industry.
Work Environment
May require travel between branches or supplier/vendor locations, company or industry events.
