Job Description
Inventory Solutions Associate (Vendor Managed Inventory)
Join HD Supply and be the trusted onsite partner for one of our valued customers. As an Inventory Solutions Associate you'll play a critical role in ensuring products are available when needed, managing inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer support within a customer facility.
What You'll Do as an Inventory Solutions Associate:
- Manage daily inventory replenishment and ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Receive and process replenishment shipments and branch transfers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required operational reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust min/max settings to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Partner with customers to understand business needs, seasonal demand fluctuations, and product requirements.
- Communicate inventory trends, customer needs, and market conditions to key stakeholders.
- Ensure regional and customer-specific inventory remains properly stocked and organized.
- Serve as the primary onsite liaison between HD Supply and the customer.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, customer service, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within established procedures.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with inventory control systems and cycle counting is a plus.
