Position Summary
The Inventory Specialist oversees the end-to-end shipping, fulfillment, and distribution strategy for e-commerce operations. This role ensures timely, accurate, and efficient processing of customer orders while working with a team of warehouse employees. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Use software systems to track, check, prioritize, and route customer orders.
Manage the flow of packages from order preparation to final shipment.
Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and other managers and employees to optimize fulfillment operations.
Resolve issues related to delayed or misrouted shipments.
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
Report on departmental activities, metrics, and issues to management.
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and customer service concerns
Promote a safe, alert, and efficient work environment
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business need.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
Solid understanding of logistics and shipping procedures.
Hands-on experience with shipping/distribution software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position operates in a warehouse setting with regular exposure to outdoor conditions during the workday. The role may involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting as needed to support fulfillment operations.
Additional Requirements
