Job Title: Inventory SpecialistLocation: Pacific, MO, United States, 63069Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Summary

seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Inventory Specialist to manage and oversee inventory processes at a contractor field site. This role plays a crucial part in tracking and organizing small-part, high-volume inventory essential to the deployment of buried fiber/WIFI cable infrastructure. This is a field-based role, working on contractor sites - not in a traditional warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Track and maintain inventory of materials used for fiber installation (e.g., splitters, vaults, construction materials, markers, etc.)
Label, organize, and store materials correctly at contractor site facilities
Perform regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
Verify stock and unit identification numbers
Unpackage, sort, and stage inventory items for field production
Collect, organize, and analyze inventory data
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing items
Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all company policies and procedures related to inventory control
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience with inventory management, ideally in a high-volume, small-parts environment
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable standing and working outdoors for extended periods
Flexible with work schedule as needed
Proficiency with computers and Excel is a plus
