Inventory Associate - A

Location: Kent, WA

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 6 months
  • Pay Rate: $31.37 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: A Shift Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 3:30 PM PST
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

The Inventory Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, handling, and shipping products and materials. This role requires accurate inventory management, safe operation of equipment, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages

Material Handling & Storage

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Organize and store products in designated locations
  • Safely operate PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers
  • Load and unload trucks and containers

Warehouse Operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Assist with receiving inspections and quality checks
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Required Skills

  • Safety is a top priority it is imperative that the employee strictly adheres to established safety protocols and guidelines. This includes but is not limited to wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following safe operating procedures, and participating in regular safety training sessions.
  • An attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication
  • Communication skills within a highly technical environment
  • Mathematical skills and analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions from gathered information
  • Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Previous certified forklift experience

Preferred Skills

  • Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry

Required Experience

  • 2 years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work at least 45 hr/wk, with opportunity to work additional hours per week
  • Contractor must be able to work a minimum of 45 50 hours per week
