Job Description

Job Title: Investment Banking AssociateReports to: Head of Investment BankingDepartment: Investment BankingLocation: San FranciscoSalary Range: $175,000-$225,000

The Associate will be a key member of an experienced team building a world-class investment banking practice focused on healthcare and life science companies. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of originating, structuring, and executing financings and M&A transactions for clients across all sectors. This position offers direct client CEO and CFO contact, significant responsibility and opportunity for advancement. The ideal candidate will have previous healthcare investment banking experience at the Associate level.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Play a lead role in all aspects of execution of investment banking transactions Assist in preparation of presentations for current and prospective clients

Perform and supervise preparation of valuation analyses of clients and targetsPerform due diligence investigationsExperience and Qualifications Required:

+4 years of investment banking experience, healthcare related transactions preferredExemplary academic record; finance and life sciences undergraduate experience preferred; MBA is a plus

Financial modeling and analytical skills are necessary, including knowledge of financial accountingOutstanding written and oral communication skillsHighly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic work environment
