Investment Banking GP Strategic Advisory Associate

The Role

DC Advisory is seeking an Associate for its GP Strategic Advisory Group, which specializes in advising alternative asset managers on a range of strategic transactions primarily at the GP / Management Company level.  The team has expertise across a spectrum of transactions that range from non-dilutive, GP-level financings on one end to GP stake sales in the middle to M&A on the other end.

As an Associate you will be an integral part of the GP Strategic Advisory team, providing support across all deal processes and projects. You will learn the core knowledge of the investment banking industry and expand your knowledge in key analytical, communication, marketing, and sales skills.  Every day is different, and your job responsibilities will include a range of projects and assignments including creating financial models, drafting pitch and marketing materials, participating in client presentations and training and managing Analysts. You will be a role model to our Analysts by identifying training and learning opportunities and monitoring work quality. Our Associates possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, a strong work ethic and thrive under pressure. You will be expected to play a critical role on transaction teams and make a difference for our clients. Preferred Experience

• Investment banking experience in related areas such as GP Strategic Advisory, FIG, secondaries, private funds, etc.

• Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000 + annual discretionary bonus

Working Arrangement

• Please note this position will operate in a hybrid capacity with four days on-site in our New York, NY office (Monday - Thursday) with the option to work from home on Fridays
