Investment Banking Senior Analyst - Power

Citi is looking for an Investment Banking Senior Analyst to join its Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory team, playing a key role in advising clients on capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic financial transactions. In this position, you will work alongside senior banking professionals, contributing directly to live deals and client mandates that shape business outcomes at a global scale. This is an opportunity to build deep expertise in investment banking while making a tangible impact for clients across complex, high-profile transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on capital markets transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic financial mandates as part of a senior-led deal team.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support valuations across a range of transaction types and industries.
• Prepare investment recommendations, valuation analyses, and statistical exhibits for client pitches and active deals.
• Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data to inform client proposals and strategic planning materials.
• Conduct in-depth economic and financial research to underpin transaction strategy and client advice.
• Evaluate company financial performance against industry benchmarks and broader market trends to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with senior Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory professionals across client transactions, contributing as a core member of the deal team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Two to five years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or a related financial advisory discipline.
• FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses, or ability to obtain them.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, in a client-facing context.
• Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in finance, economics, or a related field.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$110,000.00 - $135,000.00
