Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Investment Risk & Diligence Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.
Once approved, Investment Risk & Diligence Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to live investment opportunities requiring structured risk review
Support investors, fund managers, lenders, and sponsors during active transactions
Evaluate financial, operational, and structural risks
Build a verified risk-analysis and diligence track record tied to an Analyst Rating Score

Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges
Senior Investment Risk & Diligence Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100Pay: $150–200/hourTypical Background:Former investment banking, private equity, private credit, risk advisory, restructuring, or Big 4 Transaction Advisory professionals with 5+ years of transaction risk experience.
Lead Investment Risk & Diligence Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89Pay: $100–150/hourTypical Background:Finance professionals with 3–5 years of diligence, risk modeling, or transaction execution experience.
Investment Risk & Diligence Analyst
Rating Score: 60–79Pay: $50–100/hourTypical Background:Entry to mid-level analysts with strong financial modeling, accounting analysis, and risk assessment capabilities.
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Depending on your certification approvals, Investment Risk & Diligence Analysts may be engaged for:
Financial Risk Analysis
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Revenue sustainability and margin stability review
Working capital and liquidity analysis
Cash flow stress testing
Capital structure and debt service risk assessment
Downside and break-even scenario modeling
Commercial & Operational Risk Review
Market concentration and competitive risk analysis
Customer concentration and churn risk
Operational efficiency and cost structure review
Vendor and supply chain risk evaluation
Regulatory and compliance exposure review
Investment Protection & Committee Support
Risk summary memorandums
Red flag reports and mitigation frameworks
Sensitivity and downside case modeling
Data room review and validation
Investment committee presentation materials
Return profile vs. risk-adjusted performance analysis
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
How Analysts Start Earning
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Risk Analysis, Financial Diligence, Modeling)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning income immediately through hourly risk review projects and live transaction support

Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, FRM, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each Investment Risk & Diligence Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility
Approved risk and diligence categories
Recommended hourly rates
Eligibility for complex and high-value mandates
Compensation & Deal Terms
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues
