Job Description

Our client, a retail chain of home improvement and agriculture stores, is seeking an Investor Relations/ Public Relations Coordinator for a 3+ month contract position in Brentwood, TN. This role is fully onsite. Day to Day: This impactful role supports both the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Investor Relations and Public Relations teams, while also providing high-level administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Investor and Public Relations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who can confidently manage shifting priorities, balance project coordination with executive-level support and maintain professionalism at all times. Key responsibilities include calendar and project management, coordinating complex travel arrangements, preparing and submitting expense reports and handling confidential information with discretion. The role also plays a critical part in supporting investor relations activities such as stakeholder engagement, investor communications and conference logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, operate with a high degree of integrity and possess the ability to represent the organization with professionalism in both internal and external interactions. Serve as a primary liaison for inbound investor and analyst inquiries, ensuring a professional and insightful first point of contact on behalf of the company. Coordinate internal and external investor events, conferences and leadership presentations and nondeal roadshows—including planning, vendor management and real-time execution. Proactively manage and optimize the Investor Relations CRM and document management systems, ensuring timely and accurate information flow to senior stakeholders. Respond to a wide variety of requests for information, policies and procedures, and executive action. Maintain accurate records of all investor interactions, meetings, and follow-ups, contributing to strategic engagement planning. Support the planning and execution of quarterly earnings activities by coordinating with a third-party vendor and internal media team, preparing presentation materials, managing logistics, and assisting with investor communications. Own and execute complex calendar coordination across time zones and geographies, balancing competing priorities across internal and external stakeholder groups. Arrange domestic and international travel, optimizing for cost, efficiency and executive readiness Anticipate executive needs and proactively address issues or opportunities. Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical. Assist with board materials and executive leadership communications, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Coordinate and follow up on action items resulting from meetings and conversations. Ensure timely and policy-compliant preparation and submission of expense reports. Monitor and manage executive email inbox, prioritizing communications, drafting responses and ensuring timely follow-up on critical items. Respond to a wide variety of requests for information, policies and procedures and executive action. Assist in the creation, editing, and formatting of PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings and external communications. Enhance day-to-day department operations through process improvements, proactive problem solving and cross-functional collaboration. Maintain a welcoming and organized environment, supporting internal and external requests, guest reception and document flow management. Must Haves: Minimum 2–4 years of experience supporting senior leadership within corporate communications, investor relations, finance or executive operations in a fast-paced environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered. Other knowledge, skills or abilities: Exceptional professionalism, discretion and interpersonal presence in managing confidential, high-visibility matters. Advanced organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of quality and accuracy. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word); experience with CRM platforms and investor relations tools preferred. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, often under tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Confident and resourceful in solving problems and delivering results in high-stakes environments Pay Rate- $30.73- $31.83/ hour
