Investor Relations SpecialistMining company

Job DescriptionServe as the primary contact for U.S.-based institutional investors, investment funds, and both buy-side and sell-side analysts, addressing inquiries related to the company's financial results, operations, and strategic initiatives.Assist in developing and distributing investor communication materials, including earnings releases, investor presentations, roadshows, non-deal roadshows (NDRs), and industry conference content.Track analyst coverage, consensus forecasts, research publications, and overall market sentiment regarding the company's shares and ADRs in the U.S. market.Support adherence to SEC reporting obligations, including Forms 20-F, 40-F, and 6-K where applicable, while ensuring compliance with Regulation FD in partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.Coordinate planning and execution of investor-focused events in the United States, such as roadshows, industry conferences, and site visits.Prepare market intelligence reports, benchmark analyses against industry peers, and monitor trading activity, liquidity, and investor engagement trends.Work closely with Corporate Communications, Legal, Compliance, and ESG teams to ensure that all public disclosures are accurate, aligned, and regulatory compliant.Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of English-language investor relations materials, including the IR website, corporate fact sheets, and quarterly presentation decks.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline. An MBA degree with a finance focus is advantageous.Approximately 3 to 6 years of experience in Investor Relations, equity research, capital markets, investment banking, or related financial roles, preferably with exposure to U.S. investors and markets.Fluency in English is required, as the role involves frequent written and verbal interaction with U.S.-based investors, analysts, and internal stakeholders.Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is considered an asset, particularly for collaboration with Latin American operations and corporate headquarters.Strong understanding of SEC regulations, public company disclosure requirements, Regulation FD, and U.S. corporate governance standards.Experience within the mining, metals, natural resources, or broader commodities sector is highly desirable.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, foundational financial modeling capabilities, and strong presentation development skills, particularly in PowerPoint.Willingness and ability to travel internationally for investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.Behavioral CompetenciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with executives, institutional investors, and market participants.High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential, strategic, and material non-public information.Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, especially during earnings cycles.Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions, including Legal, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, ESG, Corporate Communications, and executive leadership teams.Competitive Package
