Job Description
IP Litigation ParalegalSalary Range: $80k to $125k Hiring a highly experienced, technically proficient IP Litigation Paralegal who can handle complex, multi-jurisdiction patent litigation, work independently under tight deadlines, and is flexible with hours. We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running, knows all relevant filing systems, and has strong organizational skills.Role Overview
- Support patent litigation attorneys on cases from filing through trial and appeal.
- Handle large patent cases, including claim construction, cases before the PTAB, U.S. District Courts (CA, TX, DE, MA, etc.), Federal Circuit appeals, and ITC Section 337 investigations.
- Must multitask, manage, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and high-quality work.
- Experience: 4+ years as an IP Litigation Paralegal in a law firm.
- Technical Skills:
- Filing in P-TACTS, ECF, USPTO Patent Center, EDIS.
- Proficient with Windows 10, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, Teams, and DMS.
- Certifications: ABA-approved paralegal certification required.
- Education: High school diploma required; some college or a bachelors preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent spelling, grammar, attention to detail, prioritization, and time management.
- Availability: Must be willing to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH).
- Location Options: Del Mar (San Diego), Silicon Valley, or New York.
- Reporting To: Paralegal Manager
