We are looking for someone who truly enjoys irrigation management and the green industry. As an Irrigation Foreman, you will lead irrigation installation projects within our landscaping construction division. This role is responsible for supervising irrigation crews, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring irrigation systems are installed efficiently, accurately, and to project specifications. The ideal candidate has strong technical irrigation expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage jobsite priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise irrigation installation crews on new construction and renovation projectsPlan daily work activities and assign tasks to ensure productivity, quality, and safetyInstall and oversee installation of irrigation systems including mainlines, laterals, valves, heads, wiring, controllers, and point-of-connection tie-insRead, interpret, and execute irrigation plans, schematics, and construction drawingsCoordinate with project managers, landscape foremen, and construction teams to align schedules and scopesTroubleshoot irrigation system issues and make field decisions to resolve conflicts or design challengesEnsure systems are tested, adjusted, and operating properly upon completionEnforce jobsite safety standards and conduct daily safety briefingsMonitor material usage, request supplies, and ensure proper handling of equipment and toolsMaintain accurate time tracking, job documentation, and progress reportingTrain and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and best practicesUnderstanding client needs while meeting or exceeding expectations.Planning, organizing and managing work for crew members at each client site locationManaging irrigation systems, as well as constructing new irrigation systemsConducting safety, equipment and timekeeping trainingInteracting with clients, residents, and employees with a high level of customer service
Performing other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in irrigation installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman roleStrong working knowledge of irrigation system components, installation methods, and troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret irrigation and construction plansPhysical ability to perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditionsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to safety, quality, and jobsite efficiencyIrrigation experience requiredLeadership experience managing crew labor in the irrigation industry.Valid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR checkReliable transportation
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience working on commercial landscape or large-scale construction projectsFamiliarity with pump systems, timers, central control systems, and large mainline installationsKnowledge of irrigation brands and systems (Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, etc.)Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skillsStrong organizational and crew management skillsExperience coordinating with multiple trades on active construction sitesAbility to train, develop, and retain high-performing crew membersInterest in advancement into irrigation management or construction operations leadership roles
