Job Description

Groundhog Landscaping keeps residential and commercial properties in excellent condition by completing impressive landscape and hardscape projects. We're hiring a full-time Irrigation Service Technician to join our Derry, NH team and play a key part in our daily operations.

If you have excellent problem-solving and hands-on repair skills, you'll earn $23.00 - $26.00/hour and receive benefits like:

IRRIGATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
  • Physical stamina for working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service mindset

The following preferred criteria would help you stand out in this entry-level position:

  • Irrigation Service Technician experience (or a similar role)
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools for installation/repair purposes
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and manuals

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and traveling to properties throughout our service area
  • Accurately repairing, maintaining, and installing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties
  • Fine-tuning controllers to optimize water usage and prevent waste
  • Diagnosing the source of problems and making the correct repairs
  • Maintaining accurate job records and performing additional tasks as assigned
